Greenline - new company - years of experience, history & customer service
FORMER John Deere machinery dealer Hal Walton has provided two of his former employees with financial assistance to buy seven John Deere dealer ships in WA.
Mr Walton, a founder of T and H Walton Stores with branches in Carnamah, Geraldton and Moora, retired three years ago.
But recently announced a renewed interest in returning to the industry as chairman of a new company called Greenline Ag.
Together with former employees Mike Hutton and Blue Charlesworth, he has formed a new company called Greenline Ag which has taken over the operations of John Deere franchise holders CJD Equipment – Guildford, AgWest Machinery - Wagin and Lake Grace, Dugald Ferguson - Narrogin, Powertrak - Boyup Brook, Pingelly Machinery - Pingelly and Witchcliffe Farm Service - Witchcliffe.
Greenline company directors Mike Hutton and Blue Charlesworth will assume day to day responsibilities of the existing businesses with Mr Walton assisting in a consultancy role.
“I am exceptionally happy to assist two former employees who gave me 14 years of outstanding service,” Mr Walton said. “And I’m happy to see some young blood in the industry to strengthen the new direction of the farm machinery business and particularly the John Deere dealership group.
‘We look forward to creating a world class John Deere dealership group that becomes the farm equipment supplier of first choice for farmers in the great southern area of WA.
“Each of us has the highest priority in after sales support in all areas of the business particularly in replacement parts and mechanical service to ensure our customers have a trouble free useage period with their machines.
“It’s going to be an exciting time for all involved meeting the challenge of achieving the goals set.”
