Greenline has created AMS support packages that allow you to get 24/7 assistance in all matters AMS
Changes in John Deere Stellar Support.
From March 2012, support for all AMS products will no longer be made available direct from John Deere. All support arrangements and packages will be handled locally by Greenline's Precision Farming team.
We have developed a plan for our dealership to be more directly involved in your AMS support that includes the Customer Call Centre. Aligned with this charge structure change, in 2012 Greenline will offer an AMS support agreement that includes the support provided by John Deere’s AMS Customer Contact Centre.
The subscription fee for a 12 months support package will be $500 inc GST and will include full phone support as you have become accustomed to with Stellar Support in the past. We have set up a Precision Farming customer support line to field all initial AMS queries. We estimate that 80% of customer issue will be able to be solved over our support line but if further in field work is needed, we will organise for your local workshop to investigate the issue.
In addition to this you may upgrade your support package to include the downloading of software updates and on screen activations for annual subscription of $700. This will ensure any updates and activations are loaded correctly and any issues with the uptake of the software are handled on the spot. Whilst Stellar Support will still continue with their free activation line, this service is an option for those not 100% confident with loading of software and activations. This option will also include two separate on farm visits.
A direct support hotline number will be given to those purchasing our support package.
Should you choose not to purchase a support package, a service fee of $120 per hour will apply for all calls for assistance.
The activation line and StellarSupport website will continue to be a no charge service. Our dealership’s AMS support plan has several options for levels of support that can include access to the CCC.
